- They don't need training
  Most parrots, especially macaws, are inquisitive about any and everything. Opening the lock and latch would take most birds maybe 2 days to figure out how to do it. From then on, no more than 5 or 6 seconds to open both. These birds are DEFINITELY smarter than some of the idiots that leave remarks in Metacafe.

  Do you really expect a bird to open a LOCKED padlock with a key?!? He is just showing that the bird is intelligent enough to remove the lock and open the latch..which is pretty impresive to me.
