      Europe carries a fraction of its global defense responsibilities. You want all of the good things in life and aren’t willing to pay for them, or you want some government to do it for you. Typical European.

      Americans are the main military peacekeeping force on this planet and you accuse us of pursuing war? I disagree with the Iraqi policy of my country… but if you want to analyze historical precedent, than you are totally wrong. We are trying to attain stability. Sometimes we fail, but at least we try. Was anyone else going to lead the way into Serbia or Gulf War I? What about the Taliban? You think we ENJOY being the peacekeepers of the world? Our troops are SO overextended that we couldn’t even provide proper response to Katrina. It’s a zero-sum game now, kid. Ever dollar we spend aiding you spoiled socialist brats is one less dollar we get to spend on our own domestic problems.

      The world cannot be a happy, peaceful place, despite what your liberal arts teacher may have taught you. There will always be a need for proactive peacekeeping forces. Right now, America carries the largest percentage of that burden. You think I like having my tax dollars burned up so that we can help protect a bunch of ungrateful little bastards?

      If America gets involved, then we are accused of over-reaching. If we pull back, we are accused of neglecting our responsibilities as a world leader. And no matter WHAT we do, we are always accused of doing too little to help Africa. Screw you. We have interests too. We aren’t your babysitter, though sometimes it feels that way.

      So go ahead, hate us. I don’t give a damn anymore. Frankly, I’ll be glad when the US steps down as the world’s lone super power. Perhaps you’ll enjoy life more under the watchful eye of the Chinese. You think perhaps they’ll bring peace?

      Now I get it - and you're right - what I was trying to do was a quick-shorter version of adding to your earlier comments. Meaning, the unnatural progression of man’s extinction, which will start with a nuclear war, followed by a nuclear winter; then, followed by extensive air / land / water pollution, starvation, disease, etc., etc., etc., all long before the 2 billion year arrival of our sun’s nova.

      I believe I just learned that sometimes adding too short of a comment can result in a loss of meaning and understanding.

    Its funny that America is always the first to try to stop other countries from making or using atomic/nuclear bombs. But in reality, the only country to ever use an atomic/nuclear bomb on another country WAS America in WWII.

    Does anyone else find this a bit disturbing?

    Also, America spends a HUGE HUGE CHUNK of money annually towards the military and we have people here in America who are homeless, schools are in bad condition, and so much other S**t .

      Again I'll bring forward my earlier point of America not being the first country to research the nuclear bomb, the Germans did. And as far as us being the only country to use one? We warned the Japanese that we had a weapon of terrible destruction. They didn't listen. So instead of wasting tens of thousands of American lives invading the Japanese homeland, we ended it from the air. Even after we dropped the first one they refused to surrender in belief that we couldn't possibly have another bomb like that. But they were wrong and paid the price.
      And for us spending so much on military and not helping our homeless? Bullshit. What do you think welfare is for? Haven't seen all the charities around have you? Haven't seen all the foreign aid going out to other countries homeless? When do you think they'll start coming over to help our homeless? America might not be perfect but we stand as a beacon of humanitarianism. If anyone else has a problem all they pretty much have to do is make a tape and send it to the white house and the president would act as if it's a national crisis that must be resolved for the good of the Earth. Because that's what the American Republic is all about, getting re-elected.

First of all, I can't believe that you are crying and upset with the US for using 2 nuclear bombs when they were first made, during WWII to end a war that would have cost millions more lives. The US gave the Japanese plenty of time to surrender and hoped that they would, because everbody feared an invasion. Second, weapons that the USA make are used as propaganda and fear factors. (MOAB, F/A-22 Raptor, etc.) They are made to help people sleep better knowing that they have the best protection, and to scare the crap out of any country dumb enough to consider attacking the US. Come one, would you really like to live without any of these things protecting you? And I think you would be surprised at how much money is spent on education and fixing the economy.

      These "Ignorant Americans" you're speaking of gross more money than all of the other top 6 grossing countries in the world COMBINED. A country who, monetarily, is so powerful, that most of Europe has to band together to surpass the value of the American dollar. America makes bombs like the MOAB through defense contractors such as Lockheed Martin, then sells either the bomb it's self, or the blueprints for manufacturing such a weapon. Said weapon is then used against another country, and America comes to the rescue by supplying that country with weapons to use against the weapons that we gave the other country in the first place, and, in turn, make Billions of dollars off of it. There's your economics for ya.
