Levi Roots Cooks - Tender Love Apple Chicken

Creamy Love Apple Chicken

2 large Chicken Breasts

½ Bottle Levi Roots Love Apple Ketchup

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

100ml Single Cream

50g Mushrooms sliced

1 Head Broccoli cut into florets

2 carrots cut into strips

250ml Double Cream

2 Large Baking Potatoes peeled & sliced very thinly

1 Clove garlic crushed

Salt & pepper to season





- Turn on the oven and heat to 200°C
- In a casserole dish layer the potatoes and sprinkle over the garlic, cover with double cream & season well. Place in the oven
- Heat the oil in a casserole dish and add the chicken breasts, fry lightly each side until they start to go brown, add the sliced mushrooms
- In a separate dish mix the Love Apple ketchup with the single cream and pour over the chicken
- Place in the oven and bake at 200°C for approx 45 minutes
- After the chicken has been in the oven for 20 minutes, slowly bring a pan of water to the boil and add the broccoli & carrots
- Simmer until tender and drain
- Remove the chicken and potato dish from the oven and carefully place a portion of each on a plate. Add some tender broccoli and carrots and serve to your loved one. Enjoy!
