This is plane should weigh under 6 oz. I know because I have several sub 6 oz planes.
These planes are relatively cheap, but the electronics can

  • It's called 3D flying

The electronics can add up to more than you would expect.
Brushless motor, Lithium-Polymer battery, Brushless Speed controller, 7 gram receiver, (4)-5 gram servos,
Foam safe glue, and you've just spent
    $380.00
A small foamie will run around $30.00 to $45.00

Tons of fun in the yard, but if you think you're gonna fly like that guy soon ---- WRONG

    • 3D Flying

It's refered to as flying 3D style, and has become quite common in the electric plane community.
That plane most likely weighs a little under 6 oz.
I know because I have several.
The unusual configuration of having the propeller in the middle of the wing instead of on the nose is somewhat rare, and why he could put the nose on the wall without damaging the plane.
The propeller has reversable pitch, which how he can accellerate backward.
If you want one just go to www.rcroups.com You'll find all the info you need.
By the way, it'll take a while, and a few planes before you'll be able to fly like that guy.

  • MiMoYAK

The model is called MiMoYak and a bit bigger (and heavier) than the usual 3D-models or shockflyers.
Flying weight is approx. 210g, or 7.4oz.
