i have newfound respect for these people. judging by this video, there is very little difference between insanely fast and fu****g DEAD.

The sled must be precisly steered to make it down the track, if you don't steer the sled will crach on the first or second turn. The best line must be followed to win, combined with an explosive start. Steering is done using your legs against the runners that curve up, and can be seen near the calf/nkles in this video. Steering is also done by pressing down with either sholder on the sled and even rolling your head left or right will move the sled slightly. It is all about a great start, timing steering on the turns, relaxing while going 80 mph and getting the right line. It is a great thrill.
