  • May solve some problems

    Ok here is some important notes which involve the new link and other info:
    You must put the crack in the ACTUAL PROGRAM FOLDER, NOT IN THE DOWNLOAD FOLDER.
    You also DO NOT need to rename the dll file, this is what kept going wrong with me, but you do not need to rename it.
    After doing this it should work.
    An easy way to find the proper photoshop folder is to simply find it in your start menu, right click photoshop and select, 'file location'
    I hope this helps people :)

  • Nag Screen still comes up

    OK, download works ok. Program works ok but I still get a nag screen for serial number. I misunderstood your instruction and just over-wrote the .dll file before I renamed the original one from Adobe. Is that an issue?
    Should I expect to keep seeing the nag screen permanently? What happens in 30 days when trial ends?

      That shouldn't be an issue, just overwriting it. Maybe you got a different version of CS4? Like portable or something?
      On the install, did you install just photoshop or everything?

      It didn't return next time I started Photoshop CS4 extended. If it comes back in 30 days I guess I'll have to try again. Thanks! (not sure how to pm you from metacafe)

    • Probably

      I don't know why you would want illustrator but I'm guessing you have your reasons. Try replacing that amtlib.dll (If there is one in illustator) with the same one from this crack and see what happens. Make a backup of the original in case it doesn't work, though.

      It popped up AGAIN? If it had already popped up before, and you placed the crack in, and it popped up again, then I'd say it didn't work.
      Are you sure you have Adobe Photoshop CS4 or Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended? No portable versions or anything.

      OK, they must have updated the website. If you look at the date, I posted this 17 of February 2009. Right now it's July 13, 2009. So they must have updated - just try to sort through and find the trial download for PhotoShop CS4.

      Can you open Photoshop in the first place?
      What operating system are you using?
      Are you positive you followed the instructions correctly?
      Any suspicious files on your computer?

    Sorry, I can't find the amtlib.dll that it already supposed to be in the photoshop folder.

    I open Adobe CS4 folder, and then photoshop folder, but then all I see is the folders:

    Deployment
    extensions
    payloads
    redist redources
    setup
    winbootstrapper

    • Oh, I know the problem.

      OK: You have it set to not show hidden files and folders that could be important to the system, so it hides the file from you. To get around that, open the folder and click "Tools" (At the top), then "Folder Options". Now click "View" in the thing that popped up, and under where it says "Hidden files and folders", check "Show hidden files and folders". Hope this helps,
