Of course he had his foot near the guy's neck, the cop was trying to stand. His foot wasn't in the guy's neck! The suspect was on the ground fighting. The cops over here are pretty good, but we cant levitate yet.

guess what. i do put my life on the line everyday.let me tell you this those cops did not have to release the dog, as you can clearly see from the clip the guy had no gun and the cops had stun grenades/smoke bombs. so they could easily deal with it. but instead they sat back and let the dog go in because american cops are lazy, fat arsed dickheads.
if you are so worried about criminals carring guns then dont F**king let any tom, dick or harry carry one. sort out your F**king consitution first.

I live in Canada and we don't have a gun problem so much....well we do a little because guns flood across the border here from the States but not so bad.

We both don't know what the man was carrying and he also was endangering a friggin baby....so in order to take him down FAST it might be easy to send the dog in....they do train dogs to apprehend criminals....if you ask me, the fastest thing they could do was send that dog BEFORE he got the baby again and harmed it....you have to agree that the baby's health must be considered first....how else do you get him quickly AND protect the baby in a high pressure situation? Bullets? I think not. People? They can't run as fast as a dog. I think it was completely the right move. Uh, unless you have some cool laser thing....the dog did its purpose and saved the baby....otherwise the cops would have just had a standoff until the man gave up or got aggressive

the "otherwise" part meant if a baby was not present....with the baby present, the best, safest and fastest way to act was with the dog

in the orignal post i said the cops with guns, it doesnt say the cops have to use the guns, but with the guns and the smoke grenades the simple fact is it would have been alot quicker and safer if the cops bundled the man when the smoke/stun grenade went off!!

our armed units of the police, they will not use a dog unless its in a pursuit situation.
with a child in the car you negoiate, and to make sure you dont indangar the child further you take the man down onto the ground, not allow the chance for the man to jump back into the car!!!
