This bird found a new technique to feed :)
city birds on the move, smart bastards!
By indred 1158495053I saw a bird use a piece of bread to fish, seeing a bird do this, and seeing them learn from eachother how to eat the poisonous toads by eating them from the underside shows they CAN learn from eachother. Now all they need to do is develope a solar powered "nut-cracker" where the bird can drop it in the top, and it's crushed between two barbed rollers and drops out the bottom. teach a handfull of them to use this device (just drop it in, it triggers, and eat.) Then you can see how well others learn from these few. might cut down on "accidents".
By masterw3 1204283099that birds smarter then most humans lmfao, amazing to see, but look how smart and the fact that it uses it's enviroment and tools to acomplish it's goal is nothing short of amazing.
By laseramp 1159408377That animals are just as smart as we are only without being evolved physically to carry out the things we humans do. I think animals are actually quite a lot smarter than us.
By SuperLamaCow 1159285462its clearly obvious that we are the most intelligent species not only by our total domination of the planet but also because we have the intelligence to carry out this debate. Let's see a crow do that.
By rarra 1159539767next it will drop the nut into someone's hands and caw, caw politely for them to crush the nut.
By Swanie 1159105175very intelligent bird.. so, cannot called some ppl birdbrain no more. haha
By calvicula 1158723012How long will it be before they learn to press the button to activate the pedestrian lights?
By Sam Bull 1158656446that dropped a nut when a big truck was driving straight at him....
By doctorgary34 1158624053Ive also seen footage of a bird getting crumbs from outside a bakery, dropping it in the sea, then snapping up little fish from the surface. a fishing bird, if u will. Should we be worried by evolution? .....
By stax 1158561690are actually among the smartest birds and animals. Correct me if I'm wrong.
By benitro 1158526468airspeed velocity of a crow carrying a coconut?
A)first determine if it is an african crow or an english crow
B)find out how much the coconut weighs
C)does it grip it by the husk?
You have to know these things if you're going to be King... ;-)
By jynny 1158802799very clever little bird. dropping the nut near a crossing aswell. i didnt know a crow could be so clever becx
By bec and yousif 1158513285Now that was interesting. I was impressed with dropping the nut into traffic. When the birds changed their tactics to dropping them into the crosswalk I was amazed.
COOL!
