    This is a TKD sparring tournament and they are wearing full padding and head gear and under the rules of World TKD Federation, this is a FULL contact free sparring.

    The attacker just isn't very good and he gets knocked out - nothing unusual about it. He attacks with a front leg jumping round house kick to the body, a kick that can cause no damage and must be done very quickly or it's dangerous to the attacker. This kick is telegraphed and slow and the defender throws a spin heel kick and knocks him out. If the attacker had held his right arm up when he came in it would have protected his face. He simply doesn't have much experience at the time of this video. This kind of TKD does not allow hand techniques to the head - its a sport, like boxing.

    That was a pretty sick knockout but there is another Tae Kwon Do video that is Korean and shows a similar style knockout kick, only it was more difficult and looked better than this one. I recommend you watch that one. Sorry I can't remember the name of the fighter off the top of my head righ tnow but look it up in YouTube it's sick this guy won MVP for the entire tournament after his team won.

      Thats exactly right, kneeling is showing respect for the oponent, if you don't know anything about competition please don't make stupid comments, this fights are "point fights" full contact, so this guy was hit the oponent already earn that point so the referee is making sure he's OK to proceed if he is knock out he wont permit him to continue.
