As to your government being corrupt from the ground up, profiting from the attack, invading innocent contries, killing innocent people... First, I did not vote for Bush in the elections for either of his terms and I never would.

Second, I never claimed to be a expert on the World Trade Centers. I am a registered professional engineer (for those of you who think I am still in school). I said I have spoken with structural engineers who are experts on the collapse of the WTC. I have attended 2 seminars on the WTC presented by structural engineers with 30 years experience or more, and no they do not work for the government. They work for independent engineering firms. At each seminar, the engineers spent years developing finite element analyses of the buildings, taking into account the types of steel used for the trusses and structural steel, the actual sizes of steel members, the actual estimated temperatures in the building, effects of thermal expansion and thermal creep, all evidence from the videos and pictures, and the design of the structural system. Both analyses showed overstresses in the exterior columns and the interior core columns, greatly exceeding the yield and ultimate stresses of the columns. This would cause the floor to collapse. If the top floors of the building above this floor fell at a free fall for the 12 feet or so, it would be moving at about 19 mph when it hit the next floor down. Even if you cut that number almost in half to 10 mph, that would easily create an impulse force greatly exceeding the design capacity of the floor below.

To me, structural engineers who have been researching and analyzing this collapse for years, and who have 30 years experience have a little more credibility than people who may have spent an hour watching a video about how there are a few similarities between the collapse of the WTC and a controlled demolition.

As for the plane that hit the empire state building, it was a B-25 as mentioned several times in this discussion which weighs about 20,000 lbs. The WTC was designed to be hit by a 707 (about 160,000 lbs). The planes that hit them were 767's that weigh 312,000 lbs., almost twice the weight. The empire state building contained much more heavy concrete and is over-designed due to the lack of computers, technology and knowledge of structures at the time is was built. There is absolutely no comparison to the events of 9/11.

although I am not an engineer of any type I saw those towers fall when they actually fell. I did notice that the towers buckled right where the planes hit and the tower above the holes added as a weight to push down...further buckling. I did watch the History Channel special on the Twin Towers years before 9-11 and they marveled at how bare the structure was and how little was put into it...not your turn of the century skyscraper like the Sears Tower that survived a 707 crash (on accident).

The pilots went as fast as the planes could go and they left as soon as possible. Besides, the Air Force and Army do not participate in under cover operations, they fight wars. As for the CIA, there is no possible way that it could be involved. The President does not command everything in the country; he cannot order the CIA to blow down buildings at will. why, that doesn't explain why the central colums gave out. Also... doesn't explain why other buildings have had monstorous fires and not collapsed. Also you are forgeting a B52 Stratofortress hit the empire state building... it didn't collapse. And your forgetting the designer of the building publicly announce that the fire isn't hot enough to collapse the steel. If it cascaded, like you say, the central colums would still be inplace. Structural engineer or not, I dont believe you, because the guy who actually MADE THE BUILDING, who'd persumably know more about its intricate design then you... said it would hold, and also publicly stated that they were designed to withstand such an event, because it had happened before. A structural engineer at 23... i persume that you wouldn't even be out of uni yet.

I did a quick calculation......at a free fall it would take 9.25 seconds to fall the 1368 ft. Each tower fell for about 15 seconds, which is about 60% longer than a free fall.

This is interesting that the steel was completely evaporated but the passport of one of the terrorists survived over 1000 degree Fahrenheit and found near the rubble of the WTC... Hey! do we have a plastic and paper engineer who can tell us the structure of that specific passport so that in the future buildings should be designed based on that PASSPORT material to survive such attacks.

Did all of it evaporate too? Well no no no. You can't say that as the black boxes were found even from the rubble of WTC where there was nothing left but the black boxes and they were taken away by the officials and later on it was said that there was nothing special in the black boxes. A Comair plane was crashed almost a month ago killing 49 people and injuring 1. The plane did not evaporate and the dead bodies of the people were found including their luggage. That will be funny the only planes in the world that evaporated after crash are those used in the attacks on 09/11.
And secondly all what you said is just a theory that you can not prove because to prove it you have to build another building of the same type with everything the same and then smash a plane into it to find out what happens.
Don’t tell me proving your theory on the computer software as the software will only give the figures it is programmed to give hence there is no way to belive such softwares.

tends to maintain itself in the same direction. The height of each floor (maybe 15 feet) is very small when compared with the width of the building (400 feet). So if it did tilt, it might tilt less than 2 degrees, something probably not very visible, depending on the direction that it's viewed from.

It came down the way it did due to the design of the building. The support structure for an exsoskeleton building is on the outside. Most of the support at the point of the jet strike was destroyed. The kinetic energy of the upper floors had little resistance coming down. Since the outer support structure of the lower floors was still intact as the upper floors fell they went straight down making this look like a controlled demolition. Pressure was also blowing debris outwards as each floor was impacted creating an umbrella profile of the collapse.

I remember those buildings going up and I remember that the support for each floor came from trusses attached to a central core of concrete and steel. Sort of like a stack of records on a spindle.That concrete/steel core housed the dozens and dozens of elevators. It would seem that even if the floors collapsed, that center column (which wouldn't have been weakened by the second plane which struck a corner) should've been the last thing to fall.

You are right, there was a core made of steel and concrete to hold up the elevators. But that's what it was there for, not as a main support for the building.

A B52 bomber hit the 78th floor of the Empire state building in 1945... 1945!!!!... and guess what?... its didnt collapse... The LONG RANGE BOMBER was travelling at over 300mph... This building was built in 1931- thats over 40 years before the WTC!!!... It all comes down to which conspirancy theory you want to believe. I prefer the conspiracy theory which is supported by facts and precendence. The official story does not contain either.

Those that believe the 911 commission ($16m spent investigating as opposed to $45m spent on investigating Clintons blow jobs) official conspiracy theory have to make VERY large assumptions- that are not backed up by evidence or examples. Its a join the dots scenario.

These people will simply NOT deal with the REAL red flag issues such as... WTC7: why did that just fall down, perfectly on itself, in a neat little pile 8 hours after the two other towers fell? No planes hitting it, minimal fire damage, many other buildings were alot closer to the north and south towers that didnt collapse. How is this possible?... Answer: its not. Its never before happened and wont ever happen again without assistance from explosives of some kind.

The problem is that there are many more probable explainations for what happened that day than the official story- you just have to have the balls to face some horrible potential truths.

It all could probably be explained quite easily, lessons could be learned so as to avoid buildings magically collapsing from fire and new structural standards could be developed, if only ALL THE EVIDENCE OF ONE OF THE GREATEST MURDER CASES IN HISTORY WASNT PICKED UP AND SHIPPED OFF TO ASIA TO BE DESTROYED as soon as possible.

Wrong. The B-52, a large plane, did not exist until the 1950s. A B-25 did hit the Empire State Building in 1945, but it was much, much, much smaller than the B-52 (and the planes that hit the WTC towers), and it had a cruising speed in the low 200s. A B-25 would not be able to take down a major building (not enough mass, fuel, or speed). That is why the Empire State Building survived that impact.
