only problem is, to get good result you need hydrogene in such big amonts it would take 3000 l of water and a small nuclearplant to produce it.

Oxyhydrogen is better for car engines.
It can be produced "On Demand" and you dont have to pay for it.
Thats what our government wants of course, they want to make Hydrogen a commercial product so they can sell it to people.

If you take stainless steel electrodes and put them in water with some baking power or even KOH, attach positive and neg. battery then you get hydrogen / oxygen bubbles. take a flame and they explode as they float to the top of water. Dont know about the attach to the car part. did not get that far. Give it a try its cool.

Its not the energy from burning Hydrogen that gives you the extra MPG....its the effect the Hydrogen has on fossil fuel.
Hydrogen causes fossil fuel to burn more efficiently. This allows you to run your car on a leaner air/fuel ratio, which means you dont need as much gas as before.
It only takes a very small amount of Hydrogen to increase the burn rate of gasoline or diesel.
Your using the Hydrogen to make gasoline more efficient, giving you more power from every drop.
If gasoline was 100% efficient, there would be no emissions like pollution. However, gasoline is far from efficient. Go out to your tailpipe and run your finger around the exhaust....that black smudge is wasted, unburned gasoline.
With HHO generators you are using VERY LITTLE (10-15 amps) of power from your alternator to create hydrogen which is used to assist the burning of fossil fuel.
Your car's alternator is already producing enough power to run the device.
If it didnt, people would not be able to install these car stereo systems...but they do..because your car's alternator produces about 14.5 volts of power and your car battery only needs 12 volts to recharge.
That means you still have an extra 2.5 volts to play with.
I dont care what Law of Thermodynamics says....it works and people are already doing it.
First off there is no such thing as free power from an alternator. The amount of work that your alternator does is directly proportional to the current that flows through it. If you increase the current it produces you increase its load or drag on the engine. Try it with a toy one sometime that powers a light bulb. When the circuit is open so no current flows it is very easy to turn the generator, when you close the circuit you can feel a definite resistance. Second your car already burns up at least 98% of the gasoline in the pistons. If you didn't your catalytic convertor would overheat. These do not work. That is why they are only available as "plans" on the internet. If it really worked they would be for sale by reputable dealers, You would not be limited to online sales. Also if they worked manufacturers would include this on cars from the factory. Lastly putting these on your car may require you to fool around with the pollution controls in an illegal manner. If you are a fool, go ahead buy one of these scam systems. But chemistry, common sense, auto makers, and auto part retailers all say they won't work.

Why the need for a catalytic converter?
If that was the case, every car would only be producing 2% hydrocarbon emissions.
You might be educated in chemistry, but I am a mechanic. I've been working on cars my whole life.
Oxyhydrogen injection works, and its been proven time and time again.
Many people are doing this worldwide, if it didnt work then why are all these people doing this.
Consistant mileage gains have been reported.
The alternator does not make free energy, but your car is definatly not using all the energy its producing. If it was, your battery would die when you turned the headlights on, or installed a sound system.
I've seen the mileage gains from these devices. I've done the math, and it works.
The catalytic convertor is there for that last 2%. If there was much more it would be running at almost unbearably hot temperatures. Haven't you ever checked the readout at a pollution control testing station? Cars today have very low output of CO. Almost all of the gas is burnt completly into H2O and CO2. Of course the alternator can handle the load, but the alternator does not give a constant load to the engine. The drag it gives to the engine is directly proportional to the current it is putting out. A very high powered stereo system will lower your mileage. Heck if your measurement device is accurate enough you could see that headlights will lower gas mileage. Your results are not backed up by the EPA who would love to see something that actually increased mileage..

1) The best I.C.E. is 18% efficient, 20% on a good day.
2) The process of brute force electrolysis today has been pushed to about 85% Faraday.
Note: Based on the caloric energy available from burning Hydrogen, by using Faraday's "Law" to translate from electrical energy it is estimated that 100% efficient hydrogen electrolysis is achieved by creating somewhere between 5.5-7.5 milliliters of gas per minute per watt of energy consumed. Members of our research group have run the numbers several ways which all seem to point to around 7.0 m/m/w or mmw for short. Many of our cells have operated as high as 6mmw or roughly 85% efficient
3) The product of electrolysis is HHO which has it's own energy value, up to 85% of what we put in.
If all we considered was the return of energy value when we inject the HHO as a supplement to gasoline, then yes; Conservation of energy applies.
HOWEVER!
HHO as an additive does more than return 80% of the energy we put in to create it. It's properties enhance the slow burning gasoline, speeding up the rate of combustion, causing much more of the total combustion process to be translated into mechanical energy rather than being lost as waste heat out the tail pipe, raising the efficiency of the total system. Returning to the simple math...
4) Let's say we're able to translate just 10% more of the total system energy to mechanical energy. We have still not violated conservation of energy, only raised the total system efficiency to 28%. But that's an increase of 55%!!! Now deduct the energy loss of 15% to create the HHO that made this possible and you still end up with a total net gain of 40%!
The movement is on and there is no stopping it.
If a ICE is only about 20% efficient you would need much more than 100% efficiency to make up for your losses in making the hydrogen. Hydrogen is not magic. You can try to claim this as much as you like but it is just not so. You probably did not even do a reliabel test for mileage. The only test you could do that eliminates the human effect which can skew milage by more than 20% is with a dynamometer. Odds are you just asked people if their mileage increased , if you did even that. There is no movement, just a bunch of scammers on the internet that will never amount to anything.

Your still not considering the effect the HHO has on fossil fuel.
Your only considering the amount of energy it takes to create the Oxyhydrogen and how much return it gives...by itself.
ALSO...I said before...oxyhydrogen injection allows you to adjust your car so that you can run on a leaner air fuel ratio.
Let me put this in Barney Terms so you can maybe understand.
Lets say that I go out to my car, modify the computer so that my fuel injectors inject less gasoline.
The car would run more efficient but with a loss of power and acceleration.
However I can now use Oxyhydrogen, which burns 3x faster and cleaner than gasoline, to compensate for the lack of fossil fuel.
It only takes 10 amps to produce about 1 liter per minute of HHO.
Not only that, many HHO enthusiasts are now using Pulsed DC current as a way to use even less battery power.
I also use a ScanGuage for all my mileage testing...not just word of mouth.
Some cars only get a 20% gain...and some get over 75%.
I bet you I could give you an HHO generator for free, install it for you, and you would still say it doesnt work because you honestly dont want it to work.

Voltage is not power. Curretn is not power. Power is current times voltage. An alternator can power one of these, no problem. It just takes more power from the engine. Conservation of energy, one of the basic laws of physics, says there is no free energy. And your alternator is wisely designed to put a drag on the engine only when it is producing power. Why have a system that always puts a drag on your engine?
One fun fact about these systems is that the more hydrogen they produce the worse your mileage will actually be.
