It is a motorcycle dumb ass only two wheels toutch the ground. It has two tires on each wheel duhh and another thing you cant steer the dam thing it only goes foward you cant turn the forks at all. So if you go some where I hope nothing is in your way or your fucked!

i like the tomahawk, like any guy would, but it really isnt worth it. I cant remember the exact speed and it varies from motorcycle to motorcycle, but I think that around 270mph you start to go airborne. another problem with the tomahawk is that it isnt street legal. but for those that want to know they have sold 9 tomahawks the first 2 0r 3 went for $500,000US
and the rest havegone for about $190,000US. So for now I will have to stay on my Ducati, but when I am old rich and am sick of life (what aa way to go!) :)

the contact patches are still small enough that it could just completely bake the tires at any given second.. any 2 wheeled top drag bike would smoke it. cool for fun and showing off, but totally impractical. more of a curious thing than any kind of real performer in any way.

If you can't go to their full potential you'll body start aching after 190 hmp on GSX-1300R Hayabusa mainly do to the windforce I hardly .... completely doubt it that anyone can go over 220hmp. but if you want it for show and go at modern speed then it's good, but better think twice about it (gas pricing)

I read about this bike in a magazine. They paid a professional rider to ride it during a photoshoot. He only got it up to 35 mph and ended up laying it over. If a professional racer can't keep the bike up then how is an average rider?
They also claim that the bike has a top speed of 300 mph. There is no way that bike will do that. The bike has lots of power but the air dynamics are terrible.
I don't even consider this vehicle a motorcycle. Real motorcycles have 2 wheels and lean into coners. This ugly thing has and does neither. This is just like the ridiculous choppers that you see an the Discovery channel. Some people like to look at them but other that they are pretty much useless.

That's an impressive bike! Can it be driven by some Japanese dude who already knows how to handle such power? The Japanese have incredibly powerful and fast bikes. There is one new model that does something like 9.2 Seconds in a quarter mile and it's street legal. Something to think about. Sorta like finding the right Jockey to ride in the Derby.

this weighs 1500 lbs and has 500 HP. you could probablyhit low 10's with it provided you could keep the front wheel down.
The other major problem is traction. a car has problems maintaining traction with 2 rear wheels 10 inches wide with that weight. 500ftlbs of torque on 2 narrow bike tires = nothing but smoke and burning rubber ruining your chances.
I would guess (with my limited knowlage) that you might be able to run low 12's mid 12's and if you are good low 11's3760603 - 1
that quartermile in less than 9 seconds easy. And you don't need a Japanese dude to ride it.

BUT that is not a street legal affair. OK? I raced in the ET-1 Division on my Yamaha 11cc Street Legal bike. What I am saying about the Tomahawk is simply this: Japanese bikes can haul ass down the quarter mile, this particular cycle - i.e. the Tomahawk seems to need someone who can HOLD ON to it @ 300 ( MPH! Does't have the aerodynamics to reach 300 mph. Even 500 hp won't do it. There are cars with half the drag of that bike and more horsepower that go 230-240. Motorcycles have a HUGE frontal area compared to cars.

The Tomahawk looks Impressive! To say the least. BUT the overall Weight of it seems rather foreboding. My Yamaha 1100cc bike weighed in at about 600 lbs. I could "Roach" the back tire from 0-60 in just first gear. This Tomahawk looks so cool, but to be pragmatic here, I think it's too heavy especially at speeds of over 160MPH. Think about it ok? 1500lbs...??? Mess up and that would hurt!

about physics of aerodynamics and S**t i am just relating what i heard from my brother-in-law who is an engineer. he said in theory, and i repeat, IN THEORY, this bike could get up to around 350mph. but nobody has gotten around to try it out yet that fast. i mean you want to test drive a motorcycle that fast?? i wouldn't want to ride in a car that fast. the fastest i have ever been in a car was about 170mph. and that was enough for me. like i said, i don't know anything about stuff like that, i am just relating what a relative who does know, alot more than me anyway, about that kind of stuff.

Top speed is 90% aerodynamics, 10% everything else. Drag increases exponentially with speed. Want to go twice as fast with a given vehicle? You will need 2^2 or 4 times as much power. To go three times as fast you will need 3^2 or 9 times as much.
That's why people who run top speed events (and I know many of them) spend almost all their time working on aerodynamics and almost none on power.

In sweden they are modding bikes with turbo..
I saw a 1000cc with a Turbo and it had 400bhp (dont remember the exact number but it is more:D)
And that bike weights the same as an ordinary bike.. the turbo weights like max 5kilos..
That is hardcore.. this is not.. this S**t weights how much? like 500kilo? or more? i guess more... the power 2 ratio is much lower on this bike if u compare to the swedish one.
