Street children live under terrible conditions. They experience (sexual) child abuse, violence, and child exploitation. Despite all that, they have to survive. They usually beg and sing hoping people would give them money. The Peduli Anak Foundation serves homeless and impoverished children by offering them a new path in life. By providing them with the necessary shelter, education, and psychological support directed towards vocational training, mentorship, and micro-credit opportunities, it strives to enable their re-entery into the community as happy and self-sufficient adults. This short film is about Sugeng a 11 year old boy living in the shelter of Peduli Anak.
