    Because smaller vessels are more manouverable they are obliged to give way to the larger vessel according to maritime law.

      No such thing maritime law say hv to give way to big vessel

      its is rule 16 and 17

      the big boat have to kept clear that small boat by altering his course to starboard and pass astern of that small vessel o make 1 round turn and parallel to the small vessel and passing astern of her. while the small boat have to maintain her speed and course and avoid altering her course to port for the vessel on her port side

      But this two captain was stupid becoz not taking action to avoid collision and by stating in rule 2

      "in construing and complying with this rule due regard shall be had to all danger of navigation and collision and to any special circumstance including the limitation of the vessel involved. Which may make departure from these rule necessary to avoid immidiate dangers."

    But fault is on both sides. Skippers thought that they will pass eachother but under mid-day sun an fumes of Rum it is hard to say how far and how fast oters go. ;)

      Its a grossfull negligance on both the parts. caz, if the bigger ship was not able to take an immediate sharp turn or quick stop, then what was its nevigation was doing, Were the playing card on "SONAR's" reader display . and so what was doing the smaller vessle staff ? Were they waiting for GOD to come & take care of their job.

    i think u pupli didnt watch that the pupli in the small boat they are siting in their space after the crash % if the crash happent like this atleast one man will fall down to the water but we can see no one as we can say that they are lucky but there is one more thingthat one man is running in the small boat by the efect of the crash the shake very high so nobody can walk like this and see the pupli in the back they r in cool mood after th4e crash lol
