    here in the uk
    need someone to police them
    Ive had occasion to come into contact with them
    and in my experience they dont do a good job
    & make up rules /laws as they go (some time ago ,I was walking near my home
    late at night a car hurtle toward me pinning me in a nearby hedge where upon I while still pinnwed in the hedge I was set upon by 2 polie officers cuffed dragged into there car , when I protested as to why they said we,ll think of something when we get to the station)
    There general response time is appallling there reasoning dubious at best,
    An yet even tho they do such a bad job they always claim to be under paid
    when in reality they are over paid ,
    As for all the cameras they are only a tool to increase revenue by means of fines & penalty,s an are nothing to do with crime provention
    The police force should be held accountable to the public after all we pay for them
    but sadly there a law unto themselves goverment bully boys !

      The level of corruption within large organisations is never acceptable, however in the Police Forces of Britain the level of corruption is unforgiveable. I am sorry to hear of your appauling treatment at the hands of people who would no doubt be more at home in the Gestapo.     It's because criminals were not getting caught and laws were being flouted by scum that prey on vunerable victims that security has had to be increased. If one is a law abiding citizen, then one should embrace tighter security.

      The footage drew attention to the fact our roads will be the most monitored in the world. This (in my opinion) is because we have thousands of cars & drivers on the roads who should not be on our roads through either not having insurance or proper licence etc. This in my mind is a crime...And just for the record, calling someone a prat (spelling can be with one t also - Google it with one and see what comes up) is not rude. Calling him a F******* W***** (which I wouldn't lower myself to do even with a state education), would have been rude!

      The issue of monitoring the roads has nothing to do with bad driving or criminality it is just another means of control. This control of the population is pushing Britain further down the road towards tyranny. That is my opinion. Removing freedom using the excuse of safety or security is a false illusion. Also Google sources are not the best guide to good manners. I would however defend your freedom to say and do as you please as long as no one else's freedom is being compromised.       Firstly I am not and never have been a Socialist neither am I a Liberal! Secondly I do believe Pratt is the correct spelling at least it was at Eton! Your statement that law abiding citizens have nothing to fear from a tighter more restrictive regime is spurious!
