Taekwon-do is not 2000 years old by any means, it was founded by General Choi Hong Hi in the 1950s/60s

  • i used to like taekwondo when i was litt...

but the i relized that its one of the worst fighting martial arts. I am saying this because one u grab their feet or make them fall, they lose, they have no chance, they dont know how to fight on the ground

  • TKD is still a joke

Hey Nebula, I have in fact sparred with TKD who claim to be top belts and my style of fighting (MMA of Judo and Ju Jitsu) is too much for them. Their kicks have no power, and once i get them on the ground, they have no defense against Judo. In fact, the first time I threw an Ogosh (hip throw) they were hurt since they do not know how to land properly.

  • Still prefer Chinese Martial Arts

You will see arts in fighting, using both hands and legs, and weapons like sword, knife, bo.

Tekwondo? All you see is just mindless kicking.

  • Sorry..

But taekwondo is no use in self defence... in streets you barely will get use off this kind martial art.. besides those kick may look fast and hard.. but they are only ''touch'', you won't knock somebody with them...

  • Taekwondo is a Joke

This is the biggest joke in the martial arts field. I would take any ju-jitsu or Judo two belts below a tae kwondo black belt and they would mop up the floor in two minutes. Tae Kwono has no basis in basic fighting skills because they violate one simple rule, "Never leave your feet"

    All show and no go
