  • Very clever, but stop the B.S.!

    Guns are merely power tools. If you could make all firearms just disappear then what, all sharp pointy tools, sticks and stones, ligatures, biting? Get real, we need to change peoples attitudes, not just the tools they use.

      ...My neighbor got his head blown off by a stone, the local bank was robbed by some guys with pointy tools and some dude murdered his wife and kids by biting them. Oh, and on the new years celebrations three people were killed by stray rocks.

      Let's see, you're in your car and someone from the outside shows you a knife, would you open the door? But what if he shows you a gun or rifle?

      I almost forgot, Some kids were killed the other day by some guys who passed by in their car shouting Bang! Rattatta! Bang!

      If u change peoples thinking, attitude or mind then u do not need the gun so why waste ur time, take away the guns...if anything is causes injury/pain u take away that which causes it not just the pain..and by the way u cannot take away injury...dont forget.

      other's possessions, and enjoy making people writhe in misery, or those who's inner voices cause them to murder and mutilate others different from themselves, then Hey! we'll both beat swords into plowshares and enjoy the new utopia. Also, I'm not a vegetarian so, unless we want to revert back to flinging or throwing pointy sticks at our prey and farm stock then firearms or variants there of are the most efficient way to get those hamburgers in the pan. By the way, when you do manage to get rid of ALL the really bad dudes in this world then give me a call and let me know what to do with all the big bad hungry animals in this world that share their habitat with humans. Surely you wouldn't suggest reverting back to cave man tactics to survive and feed. That is if you believe in cavemen, evolution and such. But I think you get my point.

    Disarming law abiding citizens will only make life so much easier for criminals. If there were no guns, criminals will find something else to kill with, like a crossbow, slingshot or spear! I cannot believe that there are still idiots out there who believe that a world without guns would be a better place. More people die of motor accidents that guns. What's next, ban cars? Please, start using your brain! Got put it there for a reason!

    control the idiots, not the guns. Give everyone a gun and we will all be safer ("I'm not going to rob you, I could get shot"). Take away all the guns, and the bad guys will still find them and use them ("Lets rob his ass, what's he gonna do, stab us?"). Don't take a knife to a gun fight...unless you're a samurai. Hell...even the samurai got mowed down. Nvm.
