this particula ligar wasn't diliberate, planned or done in a lab. the lion and tiger habitats are close together so one horney lion decided normal lion puntang wasn't good enough. he made his way to the tiger spot and voila!

  a tigon is the product of a result of a male tiger with a female lion, while a liger is a female tiger/male lion. They are more rare because the female lion is not as tolerant as the the female tiger, but they do exist.
