they are exhibitionists and acrobats.
none of this is applicable in real life.

you want a useful self defense?
learn some wrestling, sambo or jits.

anything with a ground game.
these flying kicks look cool but do nothing in a real fight.

  agree about taekwondo... but "something with the ground game" - that's just not true. Being on the ground in a streetfight is ALWAYS a bad idea. imho, MMA is the most suitable for real life scenario
