Not A Fun Prison To Be In [13+]

Forget the rights of the inmate and criminal. Jail should be the most feared place in world, not the crime school that it is. Make them work long hours and use their wages to support the community that they helped damage, then they wont have the energy to start riots.

They should have any rights. These people have not developed their sence of being a human, they just don't get it why it's wrong to do that. They trully don't understand that, their no different from animals. Either execute them or make them work forever. I don't see anything unethical with that.

my father was in prison for 21 years, people DO care, not ALL of them choose to be this way.If you don't join a gang, gangs will only act against you anyway. so now, you don't have back up. Life is very different in prison opposed to your sugar covered life of happiness and joy. Killing people for being forced to live a certain way is completely retarded. People go to prison for killing people. It is COMPLETELY natural for humans to fight. Having laws against nature, is, again, completely retarded. A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY IS MADE TO CORRECT PROBLEMS. NOT CREATE THEM. If prison would be like the way, "captain-amazing" would like it, everyone would kill themselfs. in world war 2, nazi war prisons had trouble with the inmates escaping. They then made them dig enormous holes, the size of lakes, and then, they would make them fill them up. Then, they would make them dig new holes, and they would fill those holes up. The inmates would kill themselfs before they could get information out of them. This is what happens when people form opinions on subjects they don't understand. You should always focus on trying to correct these people's problems, not forcing them to just do somthing else. And "mr. logo", you say THEY are the animals, when you see nothing unethical with killing people, or, enslaving people, when you are trying to correct their problems? Yea, shut your arrogant mouth. It is people like you that make correctional facilities fail. You must all realiz the REAL reasons people ar ein prison in the fisrt place, not ALL of them killed to get there. Most, somthing like 70%, of prisons are made up of drug charged criminals. Now, being in such a place like prison, will lead to these kinds of behaviors no matter what. I can't beleive you people can actually sit back in your chairs, and say that the "truth" is that they are animals and they need to be killed. Firstly, that S**t isn't the truth. they are not animals, i have meet many inmates, and let me tell you somthing, they are a hell of a lot kinder than you are. And secondly, YOU are the F**king animal. Thirdly, killing the rebellious, does not solve any problem, it only leaves you with dead bodies and furious relatives. ANYONE who believes murdering murderers is a way to correct, is obviously insane. And, to be legally insane, you must not be able to tell right from wrong, and not understand the results of the act. So, by definition, you are all legally insane. You said you wanted to kill them, which is wrong, and you said "nobody cares." and "I don't see anything unethical with that." it shows you do not understand the results of the action, which proves you insane. Your violent attitude speaks well for you. I am not in jail because I am more or less passive. I don't go around picking fights because of what someone says. If I were to find myself in a place where there were gangs and they were threatening my peaceful existence, I would move, pure and simple. The funny thing about life is, at least in America, a man can leave. A person is free to go wherever they please. For those who choose a way of life that involves violence, crime, murder, etc, they will probably end up in a jail like the one in the video...and they will cost everyone who has an honest job money. I say I am passive 'more or less' because I would have no problems with offering a two strike system. Break the law once, okay, mistake - fix it, grow up, mature, don't do it again...break the law twice, execution for anything above a misdemeanor. I think 'correctional facilities' do little to correct any behavior, as shown above, the violence is still in these people. Under threat of execution, I think a person would do a little soul searching and decide if the way of life is worth it. So, we would not be killing the 'rebellious' as you say it, we would be killing the idiots who couldn't take a hint and just HAD to continue breaking the law despite their having a second chance. So, as for you, I am not trying to offend, but it sounds to me like your attitude is leading you in a bad direction, joe. I have no problem obeying the law for the most part. Anyone who claims that their environment forced them to do it is lying, they allowed themselves to remain in an environment that brought them to that life. My ex girlfriend had a father that beat her, and a mother who, in spite of being beaten by her father as well, protected him, so she left. Smart girl. You choose your future, man, so choose carefully, and never, ever complain about what life has given you. This applies to americans, I'm not sure if there are similar freedoms in foreign countries, but I am sure that in most, this is the case...you always have a choice.

why people living in gang areas don not all move? because they CAN'T. where have you seen that anyone can move wherever he wants to? in your dreams? how do they pay for that? how do they find a new job? you're talking like no-one is poor, like there's no racism and social issues. if what you say was true there would be no place left in florida.

Minimum wages are what we pay to kids in high school or illegals when they are first hired. We don't expect anyone to stay at that level. That is why we have become the greatest economy in the history of the world. The incentive to the individual of higher pay IF they excel at what they do helps the company they work for excel. The one area most affected by minimum wage is food. When the minimum wage goes up the prices at the grocery store go up because the people bagging the groceries are at the minimum wage level. This puts a strain on those making just above the minimum wage because the cost of living rises to pay for the wage increase for those below them. They could still be in the poverty but the minimum wage raise is the worst thing for them. The price at Burger King goes up for the same reason. But your not supposed to stay at that level, so your argument is absolute bunk! Less than 12% in America earn wages at or below poverty level, this includes teenagers who still live with their parents, illegal immigrants and high school drop-outs with mush for brains.
In the USA we don't strive for the minimum.

When you are put in a violent and closed-in environment where you're deprived of everything you love and cherish, how would you react? The odds are against you and basically there's nothin to lose except your own life. Here's the kicker though, what if you didn't give a S**t if you lived or died in there? In fact, ask someone who's done more than ten years in there that same question. Money isn't a issue to those guys.. survival is!

I do believe people become attached to their personal belongings, and eventually they become their personal belongings. Ever heard "That job was my life!"? Its a good example, but things like this will not result in peace. Mabey inner peace, but it won't help you when the rest of the world does what they want. What about the ones who aren't there for violent reasons at all? Do they have to die too? Putting a machine gun in gun towers would raise alot of questions because as animal-like they are to most people. Somebody still cares for them like their kids, wives, parents, etc... what about them?

California does have a similar system. It's level 1, 2, 3, and 4. Level 4 is for the killers, rapists, etc. 1 for short timers (i.e. drug users, wife beaters) who have less than 5 years. The prison in this video is a level 4, but it also has 2 and 3 yards.

Just imagine yourself as one of those guards for five minutes in a full-fledged riot. It's wouldn't be any fun if you were on the yard with them. They'll be havin more fun tryin to kill you! Real talk.

A murderer is let out of prison, or escapes (because he wasn't put to death) and he kills your child.
Tell me, if you could go back and redo it, would you have him put to death?

You're asking if my child did something like that, but that is the wrong question, because MY child WOULDN'T because I will raise my child properly.

You're like, "Oh, the murderers and rapists shouldn't be killed, we should hold hands and eat lollipops!"
What?! I, for one, would rather feel at least slightly safe knowing that NO ONE is GOING to try to rob me, because they know if they do, they're going to be SHOT!

is outside those walls. I'm glad those people aren't loose, and I feel no pity for them. They make it obvious as to why they are in there.

I live in a small coastal town, population 8000, very low crime, and I get along just fine. The worst I see is a bar getting busted for selling drugs. The town across the bridge is a different story, a lot of robberies, a few murders, even riots in the high schools. I just stay away, which is easy enough...my point is, everywhere there are good and bad places, and IMHO, the US isn't that bad.

I'm in the Marines and I feel the same you do about the terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. We also have rules of engagement that we gotta follow as well. It's just fucked up that its like that but, we have our work cut out for us in this society right? By the way, are you a guard? If so, how's the employment for correctional officers in California?

There are places you can move to just like you describe - the parts of Afghanistan ruled by the Taliban, rural China, and parts of the Arab world where Sharia law is vigorously enforced. Pick one and by all means go - as soon as possible.
