Haha, I just saw this show a few days ago at Eurodisney.

The red car was described as a prototype, no brand. In our show it broke down, as did the back up car. Most of the show ran with a baddie car playing the role of the goodie car though they managed to get it up and running for the end of the show.

the car cost about 250,000 US dollars to build, custom design with a motorcycle engine in it as well.
One of the cars is built backwards with the body on so as the driver can drive and where you see it driving backwards he really is driving it forwards to him, backwards to you when your looking at it.

watch carefully there is no single car in the video which is always backward.

that is specially built in this show to look as if it is going forwards, but its body is put on the chassis backwards. This is what I'm saying here.

i was going to point that out,
its also exactly the same as the show from walt disney paris too, ive still got almost identical clips on my camera, the fire scene was my fav :)
