    The russian airplanes are more advanced than there american counterparts!! Thats for sure, i´ve havent seen any F-15 F16 F18 or whatever doing maneuvers like the cobra!!

      its because the cobra is an airshow manouver. useless in combat since it is done at a low spedd and the odds of air to air ever getting down to those speeds is pretty slim. ask any fighter pilot and they all say the same thing, great manouver- all at once you have the entire aircraft in your sites sitting still. it is a formidable fighter but not because of silly airshow stunts.

      The difference between a sukhoi and american aircrafts is sukhois can do the cobra manouver (and many others) at high speed unlike the american f-15,f-16,f-22 or whatever else. And its a very big advantage in good hands,especially at dog fighting.
