I have not seen the movie I find it very strange that it has straight actors playing gay parts. Would it make sense if the black characters in Spike Lee's Bamboozled were white actors with brown makeup? No. IMO same here. It is seems like it would depict reality in an unreal way to do so. F**king Amal or Show me Love was like this too. Does this mean that the reality of homosexuality as it actually is is unplatable to the public at large while a stylized theatrical depiction which is unreal is, conversely, attractive to them? It is strange in any case.
