    first of all everyone talking about what u can do and what u can't do in a real fight probably don't know much about matial arts or real fighting. we get so used to guys in a ring with limited abilities that we think that's all there is to it. someone said something about drunken monk style. If you've seen and think of the drunken style it's more flamboyant than what karate guy was doing. winning a fight is about the element of surprise. how surprise would u all be if a guy jumps 6 ft in the air and comes down with a kick on your temple. surprise

    Listen, first of all that was a kata that was created by the guy...he probably well knows that that won't be any good in an actualy fight, and the fact that you people are calling it "Gay Breakingdancing" or saying that this guy or that guy can kick his ass...go to hell...cause this guy probably knows a thing or too about kick ass and taking names

      he's not very impressive, a gymnastics guy with a little coaching could do all those things, and no one says he can kick anyone's ass. "pretty" but not practical. And yes its JUST a Kata but you practice the way you train and if thats how his kata's look...

      Okay this guy looks like he's in a well established tournament and in an established tournament doing just "regular" forms just doesn't cut it as well as it should have...now I'm a traditionilist as well, I've grown up doing the traditional forms of Tae Kwon Do and love 'em to death, but however, in tournaments these days just doing the traditional doesn't mean your gonna win the tournament. It takes flash jumps, kicks, flips, and well around gymnastics to win the tournament. The flasher the flip or kick, the better chances of you actually WINNING the tournament...From the way this guy looks doing this kata, his kicks looks strong as well as his punches, so the fact that he can do flip kicks doesn't really bother me...cause no matter what people say about this video, he looks great doing that kata.

    it may look impressive and flashy and im sure took a while to master and requires incredible strength, flexibility and coordination, but is there really any practical application? not self defence, thats for sure. walking down a dark alley at night, a mugger with a knife jumps you - bust a 360 backflip round house!
