okay to whoever commented on this video talkin about "robin hood was better cuz he used primitive bows" is just plain dumb. ROBIN HOOD IS A LEGEND. Its never been proven that a man named Robin Hood ever existed and even if he did, its not like he would have been superhuman.

shooting and object is quite different from shooting a living things. Imagine you are trying to shoot someone who also try to shoot you...man that a real challenge for nerve. think that the different between robin hood and archery sport. Robin hoot shoot to kill, this is just shoot for sport, for fun. You need a lot of nerve to kill someone. but still this korean archer is pretty good and skillful but i dont like to compare him with robin hood. if there is anyone that can be compare to robin hood, i'd like it a real killer sniper or an asssinate spy.

I'm not saying it's easy but I mean if you have a sight so what's so complicated.

it does not mean you'll actually hit the target. archery's a lot more technical than people think

I do target shoot. I use a 70 pound recurve. No sights. Its a martin hunter. I dont try and compete. I just dont like the way the sport has gone...gadgets and doo hickeys...what is next? laser sights with computer aided targeting? If you are using a traditional weapon like a bow...keep it traditional.

they have an episode where they deal with splitting an arrow. The myth was busted.

Mythbusters is a great show, very entertaining, and highly educational. Unfortunately, they lack the trial and error and pure science in order to completely prove or disprove a myth/theory/etc. Many things that have been found 'busted' on Mythbusters could actually happen in real life.

You can't base everything on a television show that is made to entertain and earn money, not do actual scientific research. Anyways, Mythbusters has recently begun to get boring in my opinion. Their myths are getting so whacked and sometimes are near duplicates of each other.. such as the myth about a kid getting lifted out of a carnival by balloons (which eventually required THOUSANDS of balloons) or the one where a guy flew over his city in a lawn chair attacted to some giant balloons (not even a myth, but a fact.. they just recreated it). Both examples include balloons and people being lifted by them...

Mythbusters was a great show, now it's just ridiculous.

in that I believe mythbuster is just as entertaining as ever, but that is an arguement for another time and place.

is to SLIGHTLY modify the shot so that your bow arm doesn't wobble too much when you hold teh bow up fro a long time because you have to concentrate on your aim. It does not turn a bad shot into a good shot and it DOESN'T MAKE ANYONE INTO A FANTASTIC ARCHER. You need practise, and lots of it, someting these guys have obviously been willing to give

if i want some mind over matter archery, i'd rather watch Kyudo (japanese zen archery) than this composite bow crap with olympics level competition. (nothing against koreans, this is directed towards the bows used by any modernized archery event)
