you have a very modern defence force with a massive budget, but let me assure you, american soldiers /pilots/ sailors aren't always going to be the best at everything just because they're american. there is a whole world out there as well, and believe it or not - people are better then you!

I think the pilots from the various militaries around the world probably have a lot of respect for each other and the capabilities of the others aircraft and pilots.

According to Gavlas Military Journal (issue 34, June `06) the order of fighter pilot capabilities according to result and training , international meetings etc. is: 1)Israeli 2)Greek 3)Russian .... 9) USA

The Israeli's are trained by the USA.

Finally atleast one person that does research before comenting. Agree with the results. If you are an American that doesnt mean you are the best. you got to understand that people.

The US invented Blue on Blue in all arms of the services. They rely on technology not ability and common sense. That old bird the Harrier had to be fitted out differently, especially to make it easier to fly because the yanks couldn't handle it.

USAF pilots rely on their avionic and flight computer technology, while the Rassian pilots rely on their own skill and an aircraft that gives the harders ride you may ever expiriance. Even though an F15 may have a good percentage to win against the SU33 its not the F15 pilot who is better but its internal technology.

That privelege belongs to the British RAF.

i was told a few years ago that the MIG 29 Fulcrum waas the forst that coiuld actually do that i beleive that it is called an imelman (dont think that i spelt it right)

an imelmanis a manouver for reversing direction it was performed even in ww2 fighters.

not meaning any disrespect to the indian pilots but it is fairly common knowledge that this exersise was done to force congress to order the f22 into production. It showed the performance deficit the f15 and f16 sufered against the sukhois in the hands of skilled pilots.

U r very wrong man russian are not behind at all just read my comment no other plane in the world can do that (brake in the air like sukhoi). And something else just to know. Do you know how many years have pass from the last time americans send people in space? Do u know that america pays russian to lift people in your space stations? Hmm guess not. For russians lifting people in space its just a routine.
And i dont to start a convartation about the antiaircraft technology that russians have (it really kicks ass).

listen to your salf man. Catching up. you americans always say our F-22 is the best. But they dont get training in the cabin of that plane. just think about flying a Passenger jet with the skills of a fighter jet. thats about how hard it will be to retrain. so dont say nothing the Russian fighters train in these planes and fly these planes so they exactly what the capabilities are.

It will be better if you go and find out the real technicalities yourself.
Sukhoi-30 MKI is a plane which has more advanced thrust vectoring than F-22 itself which has only vertical vectoring. Moreover you can get a more than 3 Su-30 MKIs for the cost of 1 F-22 ...and 3 Su-30s on 1 F-22 will blow the hell out of it from the sky.

So Su-27/33 has more chances to win( if pilots are the same).
But pilot plays the biggest role so its useless saying which aircraft is better...

the end of the runway is curved up. On that kind of plane carrier, an F18 would be able to take off without any assistence too.

lol dont you know that the F-18 have a like a big f*cking sling shot :P that send it of ore els it whod not make it and plump down in the water. (but the "slingshot" is driven by some old fashion steam enginen ;P

the new cariers have a magnetic system. more reliable less moving parts ect.

did not know that *bow* but still ;) it have help to start and this "Sukhoi SU-33" do not ;)
