once you play a game its end is gone why o why go back? well in this case more fun,killing and best of all a place to releace anger, rage and unwind so we can be normal ppl. enjoy life and be what we want to. me a dad,you a mom/brother/sister but one thing JUST BE NICE

Well, they have little to do with each other. Halo Wars isn't being made by Bungie, but a seperate company (Ensemble Studios, as the trailer denotes).

As for how they differ, Halo Wars takes place during the first skirmishes between the UNSC and the Covenant. That's why there are so many Spartans in that trailer. Waaaay before Halo 3 even happens.

Bungie doesn't have a history of misleading game trailers. Halo 3 was rendered in real-time; they demonstrated it by actively moving Master Chief around in the game as well as firing off some weapons.

It'd be the same for this one. The close-up sequences were, of course, pre-rendered, but a staggering majority of the trailer was made using the in-game models and animations. That's how much the 360 is able to handle.

I love Halo and I love a good RTS. I have my worries and doubts, but I will definetely be looking into this. Don't count this one out guys. Halo Wars is built specifically for Xbox 360 so none of that PC conversion crap. If they pull this off it is going to be B.A. man, seriously B.A.

this is obviousely refering to the wars b4 the discovery of halo.. read the halo books to know how the spartans came to be..

... a lot of the in-game models were used in this footage, especially for the far-away shots. I don't doubt that the actual game footage will have close to the same quality as the trailer--the 360's plenty capable of handling it.

if you've actually ever played the game, you'd know that the biggest similarity between these guys and the predator... is camoflauge (invisibility)... or just the fact that both are technologically advanced...
yeah so... i guess anybody who's ever imagined alien beings with sophisticated technology should also be charged for "copyright infringement". So... pretty much most of the sci fi genre would qualify...

With that logic, no one should be allowed to design spaceships anymore. Common space movie staples such as quadruple mandibles and advanced propulsion systems, not to mention biologically - augmented soldiers are not anyone's intellectual property anymore. No copyright.
