Aloha This is SifuZ with Wing Chun Club International. Welcome to my video presentation. What i am sharing with you is is a short collection of photos of our club throughout the past 16 years of training.

1st photo- Sutra
I began training in Wing Chun Kung Fu in 1993 with Grand Master Chris Chan of Hong Kong and SanFrancisco. I'm training here with NickiT at the Sutra Baths. NickiT has gone on to become an incredibly successful musician in Los Angeles and plays with the drummer from Primus in a band called "Into The Presence".

In less than a year of training with Chris Chan I moved back to Hawaii. There were no Wing Chun schools on the North Shore of Oahu so I started the North Shore Wing Chun Club. It included LadyM NickiT me Ben Jacobsen and Grahm.

Ben Jacobson is currently heading the club in Placerville California near Tahoe.

LadyM was amongst my first serious students and is now expecting her second child. She still trains Wing Chun in China where she lives with her husband whom also trains

Here's me, LadyM our SiHing Ken Chun and LadyL after our 1st seminar with Ken in Hawaii. Sihing Chun is a technical master and we always look forward to his seminars.

We are very fortunate to be able to train year round on the beach in Hawaii. This is a photo of Jesse Pierson and Chris Scanlan practicing chi sao.

Jesse is currently setting up a Wing Chun Club in Steamboat Colorado. Shortly after this photo I moved to Manoa on the other side of the Island and began teaching there.

Geraldo Masza is a fine musician and an avid martial arts practitioner.

He and LadyA were among my first students in Manoa. We trained in the semitary where Master Au also taught gung fu.

After a year in rainy Manoa I moved to town where LadyL helped me to start the Honolulu Wing Chun Club. Pictured is Mica the tennis pro, LadyN Karl, me Taka the big wave surfer, Carl, LadyL and Hanaloa the Hawaiian Superman.

10th photo Sihing Chun #2
Our Kwoon was located next to a music rehersal studio where mostly punk rock bands played really loud. This is a photo of Sihing Chun's 2nd seminar in Hawaii. In the back row of this picture is Charlie the Hawaiian Superman, Aaron the European tai kwoon do champ, Charles the consummate kung fu man and the infamous Willie who I think is in Alaska. I wonder if "thecrowrains" knows this guy?

LadyL eventually became a professional with a graphic arts firm in Honolulu. she made this for our club in 2002. Pictured in this photo is a federal agent and a nine year old which shows you the wide range of Wing Chun practitioners.

This was one of our finest facilities which latter got demolished and turned into a Public storage. In this picture is a Kumu Hula instructor, a chi gong instructor and a new york jewler with her assistant. Hiding in the back is LadyC.

LadyC and LadyL practicing don (single) chi sao (sticky hands). Out of respect for the woman I only mention them by "lady" nicknames. This facility had it all. Wooden Dummy, hanging sand bags, matts, mirrors and even a kung fu cam!

Eventually we moved our training sessions to Kapiolani park where our club grew to it's biggest proportions. Pictured here are students mostly from Sweden. Long time wing chun practitioner Steven Carter is seen in the center sitting between the Ladies.

Our sessions were in the evening rain or moonshine. This is the place that has been used by martial artist for decades here in Hawaii. It's known as the archery range and traditional Japanese archery is often taught here.

On the weekends we trained during the day so we were able to get this shoot of the Swedish mostly crew. Pictured also are Jason from Tinklepotty and Justin the punk rocker....
