For the people who don't know any better that is in fact a meteor.
Where you get your information from as to what is and what isn't a meteor is highly suspect.
Learn a little about astronomy and you will see
that what is seen in this video IS a meteor or some would call it a bolide.
It's a hell of a sight to see and quite spectacular when they are so bright.

a satelite loosing orbit to me

when i was 12 living in northern BC Canada. so that would be in the 70's a meteor flew over my town on its way to russia where it hit. looked like a school bus on fire just like that. It can come through our atmospher just like that but it has to be on the slowing down side. So say this thing was really big and came in on something vary much the same way as the shutls it COULD look like this. it did for me as a kid

But what ever it is, it's giving off a lot of light as it enters the atmoshere!
