the next year during operation barbarossa, in august when the panzers were 200 km from moscow , he ordered them south to capture kiev, much to the dismay of general guderian the architect of blitzkrieg,by the time the advance resumed on moscow the russians had reinforced their defences and slowed them down untill the big freeze stopped the germans in their tracks ,this infuriated hitler
who sacked the generals and took personal command of the army and led it to its next disaster at stalingrad the following year. anyone who thinks hitler was a military genius is an idiot,he was only a political genius:the art of b.s.
had he not diverted the panzers in august,they would have taken moscow and stalin, winning the russian campaign and then finishing off england before the usa could deploy the b17s there. the usa would win eventually though , flying b29s from america to europe dropping nukes on germany, that was the original purpose of the b29,as a transatlantic bomber,but thanks to corporal hitler leading his army to disaster, they were free to go to the pacific.

Was a very accomplished at public speaking and yes! He did study the effects it had on the masses and he would adjust his speech, gestures and overall act.
