      If you cared to brush up on your comprehension skills you would see that the point mooncat56 is making is that Australians DO speak English but they are not the ONLY people who speak English. Some of us actually learnt to read it as well Noddy.

    sri lankans do NOT speak Tamil!!

    They speak sinhalese, which is the native language of Sri Lanka.

    There is a state in southern India called Tamil Nadu, literally 'land of the Tamils' that is where Tamil originated as a classical language, as old as Sanskrit is.

    And in Tamil Nadu Tamil is spoken properly, to the casual observer it sounds just like Hindi or Urdu.

    The Sri Lankan dialect of Tamil, spoken by people who moved from Tamil Nadu to Sri Lanka years ago, is quite extreme, an analogy would be English in a Scottish dialect.

    So excellent clip, but saying only Sri Lankans speak Tamil is like saying only Australians speak English!!

      if you look at my initial comment, i called it an 'excellent clip'

      and at no point did I say that he said anything wrong, i was just pointing out that the majority of tamil speakers are in india and malaysia,

      and EVEN IF he was politically incorrect, it's not his fault, let me say that openly, he just says what he thinks people will find funny.

    Not only is the guy a tremendous comedian with very good control of his act , he is sarcastic with himself first and then the rest of the ethnic minorities , he is VERY HANDSOME with very strong facial features .....
