Basic English
Theorem : All numbers are equal to zero.
Dont that conflict with our mathematics law?
If you have $100 dollars = having none at all?
Debate here.
‎littlepuppy is right. You cannot devide both side by 0

By batangbolero 1237216150 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removex^2 = xy is not a general equation.
but for fun, it is okey! =)
Ah, finally a guy who understands that this is just for fun only, to test if you are able to spot the problem
By Movieflux 1237215611 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removesince x = y , you cannot cancel (x-y) from both sides as it would mean dividing by zero.the procedur is wrong
By 4u.nitesh 1237212384 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe entire procedure is correct. x^2=xy IS a valid equation for demonstration purposes. You CAN divide by (x-y) on both sides, you as a human DO know it is zero, algebra doesn't, and is a valid algebraic procedure.
The point is in the result of the demonstration, x=0, the demonstration itself shows that this is a VALID DEMONSTRATION to the PARTICULAR CASE WHERE X AND Y ARE ZERO.
X=0. THAT is the answer.
All number Zeroes ARE Zeroes.
i really hate math..
all math teacher sucksss.
It means you didn't like ( or can't ) think!
By GiGaGriG 1237308425 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethis is just a fallacy in mathematical language, an argument that seems to be true but it isn't. one number can't be named with two different letters.
By davecastro 1237239239 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeit is callled variable
By batangbolero 1237242083 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removex^2-y^2 not equal to (x-y)^2 or (x-y)(x+y)...
you got it wrong there...
x^2-y^2 not equal to (x-y)^2 or (x-y)(x+y)...
you got it wrong there...
