- They DO have prretty colors
this was probably filmed with an infrared camera, which would explain the lack of color.

Yes, it's an infrared camera but this was early in the morning before sunrise. It does have color during the day but since the nest is in the cavity of a tree you can't really see the pretty colors too well. Sometimes it's better than others depending on the position of the sun.
