  do you have any idea how much horsepower is required to "pop-a-wheelie"? a tremendous amount. my brother's nova ss had 450 horsepower and it didn't lift nearly as high as these did. in other words: it takes a hell of a lot of go to make this kind of show.

  I had an 11-second Buick Grand National that would lift the left front wheel about 4 inches off the ground. That was about 400 hp and 450 lbs of torque.

- That's not the point he's making.
  Not disputing that these are seriously powerful cars. But getting the nose to point straight up like that does not equate to a quick 1/4 mile. They are just doing it for show, that's why they are not racing another car in the next lane.

lets build lots of very nice horse power , and not put wheelie bars on our cars...then we can look stupid as we go down the track upside down or on the sides lmao....
but i do love to watch a drag car with lots of power going down the track....
