- definately not a louse or headlice as so...
definately a bed bug. You don't really see them in homes often.. just in hotels, motels.. check behind the headboards, and check the corners of the mattresses. If you see any brown/black spots on the mattress, that is indicitive of bed bugs. they hide well and the best thing to do is get rid of the mattress and fumigate the place. and for those who want to know what a head louse looks like or know more about it, google it..or go to headlice.org loads of info. Very hard to get rid of. My kid got it from another kid by playing in a jumpy, (rolling around in the same area).. Had to vacuum all rugs, wash bed sheets in hot water and put toys in dryer for a while... Had to do 3! treatments... well the first 2 were with store brand stuff didnt work.. but NIX did the trick! I hated the whole ordeal... have to comb the kids hair out and get all nits out! what an awful ordeal for a 3 year old! Thank God my 2 year old didn't get them too!!!
