A Turkish baby-sitter in the US, was sent to prison (I think for 5 years), after she saved the baby who was choking to death. Doctors said that if she hadn't immediately taken the blocking piece out of the baby's throat, she would die before 911 could save her. She was accused of shaking the baby too much, and was found guilty. She is still in prison!

I am a maintenance mechanic for a construction company. One day I had to change the airfilter in one of the trucks. I told the yard guy that he could go ahead load the trailer while I was working on the truck. Everything was fine till the truck rolled forward right on my foot and stopped there. The yard guy didn't know what happen till he heard me yelling. In a panic, he quickly moved the truck freeing my foot. Thank goodness for steel toe boots I only had a sore foot.
