    That's true about the trees. Also, the world now plants more trees every year than it cuts down. But there are alternatives to wood pulp for paper. Pulp makes poor quality paper. If we used hemp for example, we would never have to cut another tree down for paper. Hemp is one of the densest bio-mass plants known. An acre can produce three to five cuttings in a year and masses three times what the same acre can produce in wood. So why don't we make the switch? Pressure from loggers and saw mills who don't want to change, and politics. Cannabis is a hemp. Never mind that there are dozens of varieties which do not contain THC. So write your representatives and demand action!
