The Saab JAS 39 "Gripen" is a fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. The aircraft is in service with the Swedish Air Force, the Czech Republic Air Force and the Hungarian Air Force and has been ordered by the South African Air Force.

    Even though sweden is a peacefull country, some really amazing planes have been made here. The concept of the gripen is originally Israeli, but it cost to much so the plans were sold to sweden. That was the 1st generation, the plane today is as mentioned the 4th generation. Not many changes have been made on the outside, but the technology packed on the inside is extrodinary.
