This is a guy by the name of Kevin, who is quite well known at the Lion park in Muldersdrift in South Africa. It is absolutely amazing the way he interacts with animals. He has extensive knowledge of animals and their behavior. I am sure if you guys Google the Lion Park you will find more info on him. I have been to the Lion Park a few times and was amazed every time. They have quite a tame giraffe and a few ostriches there that eats treats out of your hand. A must see when you come to visit our beautiful country.

For those of us who safari from the safety of the sofa & the lens of a stranger's camera it's easy (for me) to lose perspective of relative size. But every once in awhile I see something which takes my breath away; the opening image of this video being one of them. Wow, they are HUGE & quite magestic!
As for THESE particular lions & that rediculous hyena...well, there's much more to the story. Look him up...& watch Animal Planet's "Into the Pride".

Good for a man to be friendly with animals not like Lions . Enjoy the watching the video but he should be careful about this animals bco's tomorrow they can turn against him when they hungry .
I my country a man went yo Zoo to play with as he everytime but that day thing wasn't okay with this animals but he d't know he be lunch for Lions .
Please each time you are going in try to read the mood of the animals he call's friends

Hmmmmm - cavorting with captive lions reminds me of Grizzly Adams wrestling his pet bear. 7th generation captivity tends to breed the wildness out since the familiar is the human imprinting that occurs when mother decides to show off her cubs. Mother has been captive all her life, so was her mother, and hers, and hers, etc. Love to see the walkabout lion hugs on the Serengetti with the Beastmaster - still very Steve Irwin like so it is amusing and cute? Happens in any zoo right?

He should be fine but as soon as one of these animals break his skin and they smell blood they will instinctively attack and begin to feed.Animals do not have the capacity to reason as they don
t have a cerebial cortex only a mamalian brain.

he seem to be very Brave and playing with Lions and such animals u need to be very brave and need to have knowledge about them how to take care of such animals.Wooooo I love it Great Man.

At first I-thought they must be lobotomised well fed & de-clawed too (Heh-Heh) but then thought that some kind of real love along with some real life intense communication with simple patterning is possible... If it's the latter then just to be sure does this man know that you should never ever ever touch their stomachs...? Many cats have an automatic defense mechanism like someone with years of Wing-Chun training who can sometimes triple-punch you by reflex without knowing it if you surprise or scare them without warning...

I'm sure if George Adamson still alive, he will be you best friend. RIP in peace to Elsa, boy and christian.....

In most cases animals that are well fed should have no reason to attack humans, or any other animal, unless they feel that they are in danger. the dude must have been close with the lions since they were young, and have grown an affection towards him (males are usually the more tame of animals in nature). It was always a dream to me to have a giant cat as a pal, but even if the claws and teeth were grinded down, the lion will never be domesticated.

but I really dont wanna see when that day comes.... they are animals, they can bites you ... this could be happen .... god bless him.
