In Mexico you get paid by the day whereas in the U.S. you get paid by the hour. The minimum wage in Mexico is an insulting $54.80 Pesos wich is $3.86 Dollars. So when people tell you that you can make in an hour here what people make in days in Mexico is no lie. The Elitists in Both Mexico and the U.S. see this as mutually beneficial. Mexican poverty gets exported by the elitists instead of dealing with it and U.S. businesses pay 3rd world wages to rake in major profits.

I have noticed that pattern as well. Elitists have a historical tendency to favor foreigners above their compatriots. In Mexico we call them Vendidos, "Sellouts."
