    Maxine Nightingale is DEFINITELY the original. This is back when a lot of original stuff was being created and there was a wealth of talent in the music industry. It is such a shame how so many supposed new "artists" are sampling so much music from the 70's and 80's era to give their songs a touch of good sound. Seems there is no real original content any more like from the era that Lead Me On came from. That is why I dig out my old vinlys sometimes and listen to some real music.

    Oh yeah. I remember trying to catch the song on the radio and taping it. When CD's came out, this 70's "oldy but goody" was hard to find, and just in the past 10 years or so, the music industry started to revisit that era and, waalllaa !!!! I've collected most of the great songs of the 70's and 80's. LEAD ME ON is a GREAT SONG you can't help swaying your body to.... Thank you.
