The police train these dogs in the fields near my house. They are a menace, and are trained to be a menace: their use is in state terrorism, not against criminals. They can be taken to demonstrations, they do not turn up at crime scenes.

I'm a K9 officer and I respond to crime scenes everyday. My dog has found drugs and federal fugitives. She has also done demonstrations for preschool students up to college classes. They are trained, but they ar animals. There are 2 kinds of police K9 handlers...those who've been bitten and those who will be. Open your mind and quit living behind the fear of what you dont understand.

These are Beligum Malinois'. Beautiful breed. And a lot of police dogs do not listen to the command immediately since they are so caught up in the moment. Same with fighting dogs. They don't feel pain because of the adrenaline. Also, the dog did not attack his handler. If you look closely, he's holding a toy as a reward. The dog shook as if playing tug-o-war.

He got bit. How do I know? That's how I acted and those are the same release commands I used when my dog bit me. Just because they're police K9s doesnt mean that they're 100% predictable. They get excited and caught up in the action just like humans.
