Step One: Stop spreading rumors about this virus. Everytime you say how bad it will be, you give this vile programmer what he wants. Why give him the satisfaction of knowing that he has struck fear into your heart?

Step Two: Update your virus protector! It is as simple as that. All you need to do is update ASAP and your AV should be ready, lest you do somehow get infected with something.

Step Three: Defeat the paranoia. If you are really that scared, follow steps one and two, and then simply do not download anything or turn on any BitTorrents, thus no port should be open and you have less of a chance of being hit.

Step Four: If you do get a virus, please do not panic. Simply run your virus protector and it will catch and destroy it.
