This is not a real event although sadly it is likely based on an actual nightmare event which did occur.

A father returned home after being away on a long trip and when his young son ran up to him when he landed , the father lifted the boy up and into the rotor blades.

even if it is a fake, it is pretty sick. when I was in the Army, a very tall scout (OH-58) pilot got out of the aircraft while it was running. the aircraft was parked with the nose slightly up hill...his stick buddy was still in the running aircraft...the pilot exited the aircraft to the front (which is never a good idea, btw) and promptly got his head whacked right off.

Rule #1: when exiting helicopters, avoid the front and rear (tail rotors are nasty), exit to the sides (except in Chinooks...avoid the front, exit to rear or sides), even if you are short, keep your head, arms, and any protruding equipment down (radio antennas, gun barrels, etc). Landing area slope can make a huge difference on how close you may be to the rotors and you can't really see the damn things.

now i can tell u that this is fake, if u see carefully or put the clip in slow motion, u will see the cut hand hited the camera but the hand has no bones!!!!

Actually that was a REAL video and then they turned it into a commercial, that is why it was banned from T.V.
