Homemade Hovercraft..

yea keep inventing stuff like that and increase the fitness centers and Gyms .

but isn't that thing is one of the experiment in every highschools and colleges???

isn't that experiment about objects moving with less friction.
i am sure whoever went to highschool in metacafe already saw or experience that experiment in real life?

no steering....... ....this kid isn't a genious yet until he puts steering on this hovercraft or else the handicaps are going to crash and sue him.

it's easy to build this vehicle. you take a round piece of wood with a hole for the leaf blower. and then you take a piece of foil and glue it under the piece of wood. then you cut a hole in the foil (in the middle of it). Now take a chair and fix it on the vehicle, stuck the leaf blower in the hole and have fun!

Umm sorry guys but this is nothing new. You can find plans all over the net, we built these for kicks back in middle school. A true hover-craft would be amazing, this is not one. There is a physical contact between the craft and the ground i.e. the plastic garbage bag. It would be cool for disabled people but is too big and too noisy.

This kid is having fun, and at that age, thats great. I alway regret never having moved many of my ideas to the proto type level. This kid will be an engineer in 15 years, and running NASA in 25 years, give him a break
