This kid is a genius...no matter what that thing is made of, its going to be in the market soon...makes a faster transport for the handicapped..
yea keep inventing stuff like that and increase the fitness centers and Gyms .
By oneonone 1162334350 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removebut isn't that thing is one of the experiment in every highschools and colleges???

i am sure whoever went to highschool in metacafe already saw or experience that experiment in real life?

great mom! A real woman! http://www.metacafe.com/watch/307183/simply_amazing/
By blowme 1174187749 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeno steering....... ....this kid isn't a genious yet until he puts steering on this hovercraft or else the handicaps are going to crash and sue him.
(you got to think)
it's easy to build this vehicle. you take a round piece of wood with a hole for the leaf blower. and then you take a piece of foil and glue it under the piece of wood. then you cut a hole in the foil (in the middle of it). Now take a chair and fix it on the vehicle, stuck the leaf blower in the hole and have fun!

By GusB 1161060796 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethe one with all the credit, is the one who took the time to make the darn thing
By scrapologist 1161141538 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveUmm sorry guys but this is nothing new. You can find plans all over the net, we built these for kicks back in middle school. A true hover-craft would be amazing, this is not one. There is a physical contact between the craft and the ground i.e. the plastic garbage bag. It would be cool for disabled people but is too big and too noisy.
By spudmuffin 1161023112 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeok but how is steering gonna be able to that thing ?

This kid is having fun, and at that age, thats great. I alway regret never having moved many of my ideas to the proto type level. This kid will be an engineer in 15 years, and running NASA in 25 years, give him a break
By scrapolgist 1160846312 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe kid didn't made the craft. He simply got ripped off by those AS SEEN ON TV commercials. He was in for a de-tuned NASA vesion, but wind up with this lame DIY project. Poor kid.
