Motorola Unites With Bono, Bobby Shriver And The Global Fund To Launch Campaign Designed To Help Fight Aids In Africa

On October 13th, 2006, Motorola, the exclusive worldwide wireless partner for (Product) Red, announced the availability of the new Red MOTORAZR. Designed specifically to support (Red), an initiative founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to raise awareness and money for the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. A contribution will be donated to the fund for each Red MOTORAZR sold in North America. The phones will be available in early November from Sprint and U.S. Cellular.
