and I envy the guys that get to fly it. that being said it is definetly outclassed by the ef 2000 and f22. its low speed manouvering is superior to the raptor however how often is a dogfight ever going to go below 400 knots? and anything above that the f22 is far superior. and never mind radar signitures its debateble if the two would ever get close enough to dogfight. the raptor pilot would have two want to give up his stealth advantage and then bring the dogfight to a low speed engagment. however it is also a well known fact that the sukhoi is far superior to the f15. the f15 had its day. then it was the su 37 now the raptor and next is and then......

American fighterplanes are the best there is no sense in deniing it, and i'm saying this as an impartial gudge (i'm not american) it's just the truth they have one of the best if not the best military in the world certenly the best equipped,
their only problem is the chain of command politics F**ks their military all the dam time some heartbleed always forces them to leave before they finish theyr job (1993 somalia 1991 1st gulf war)

As an American, I agee with everything you said, & it looks like it's going to happen again. My countrymen elected a bleeding heart to the presidency. He just signed a presidential order to close the prison camp where we hold all the terrorists we've caught. & He's promised to dismantle all of the security measures that have kept us safe these last 8 years. I'm glad I don't live in a city. As soon as they can plot in safety, Al Queda will be back in America to murder more people, not that the democrats care about the average person, their demographic is the rich, white, leftwing heir/heiress/actor. they look down their noses at those of us who work for a living, & they dispise you if you happen to believe in a higher power. these people just don't get it, The United States was founded on the principle that the government should have little impact on peoples lives, Freedom is being responsible for yourself, not on a government Obama has missed the whole point of the constitution.

and even the f22 can't do some of these manouvers, however a superchipmunk can and some biplanes can do manouvers that would crash any jet. The problem is a lot of these manouvers are low speed manouvers and cannot be done at higher speeds. in combat speed is life you slow down to do that cute manouver and you get a close up view of a missile be it american or russian. and when you go to high speed manouvering the f22 is far superior. not that it matters because by the time you realise the f22 is there its to late your locked and that blip onthe radar is his weapons door opening.

Canada should buy some of these, get us some good superiority fighters for cold climates.
