New Weapon

It is the access to the guns that causes the problem. In the usa especially, any Tom, Dick or postal worker can get one like they were buying candy. usa has a gun mentality that needs to be addressed.

And there it is ladies and gentlemen: the giant fallacy that is behind all the anti-gun people, concisely illustrated. Access, IF IT DOES ANYTHING, makes people SAFER. Before you freak, here is the reasoning: legal access to guns (and BTW I can deal with waiting periods and no missiles or military grade weapons) allows people who act lawfully and are responsible have easy access to guns for self-defense when that is their only option. People who act outside the law GET GUNS ANYWAY because THEY DON'T CARE WHAT THE LAW SAYS. Thus, if you make guns hard to get legally, you only prevent lawfully acting people from getting them, while criminals are minimally affected because they simply break the law.

Please understand this. I really don't care either way on any particular law and I am not trying to attack anyone. It is just amazing to me that people stop their reasoning on this issue before taking it to it's conclusion to understand which people gun control controls. Believe me, it is not the people that you want controlled, but the people who don't need to be.

Most of the Tom, Dick, or Postal workers that I know should have legal access to guns because they are responsible people, and they should be armed when some jerk who got the gun illegally starts shooting and needs to be taken out. People need to stop being so fearful of taking responsibility for their own behavior and trust themselves and the VAST MAJORITY of people to behave properly when wielding a gun.

the only 'bad' guys and violence that you've seen must be in the movies. These are nice tools for real life. BTW, your liberal-leftist leaders are avid believers in the latest state of the art firearms...but only for themselves and body guards, not for you and your family. Remember back on Nov. 22, 2005 when Sen. Ted Kennedy (Drunk of the Year, and Mr. Gun Ban), got busted because his body guard was in posession of 1 handgun and 2 machine guns in D.C. and illegally entered the Senate Office Building with a loaded machine gun? Yeah, the same Senator that killed his Mistress while driving drunk (again) at Chappaquiddick Island in '69 and didn't even report it to Police until the next day after he woke up at home.

Ted, Metzenbam, Clintons all have sorded histories and they are the Hiearchy of the Liberal Left, the one's that are struggling to assume Totalitarianist control of our government and disolve the U.S. constitution as we speak. AND they run the U.S. Liberal Media, exactly as the Pravda was the media propaganda provider for the U.S.S.R. during the cold war.
