The reason why many people count only 3 or 4 is bacuase the word "of" is pronounced "ov" and then we look over it :)

I used the pause button and counted 6 F's, I think that qualifies as genius engineering, finding the easy way to solve an issue.

there are realy 6 F letters. the point is that when you read the text you count the Fs by hearing, without considering the Fs that sounds like V. like the word "OF"... and actually without counting those words (the "OF"s) in the sentence, we are counting only 4 Fs, just like several people here...
anyway, I don't think Im a genius now... :)

that not all of the Fs are performed the same. two of the Fs are more light then the other, so when you search after them u actualy search after the letters that are similar in their performance to the first F in the text.. the first F is more thick, and there are 3 more thick Fs in the text so you think there are only 4 Fs...
