Not all that!
The MP-5 was replaced by the special forces community due to it's High failure rate. The roller bolts tend to crack after three mags or so. There were serious metalurgical issues with the weapon as well. Additionally, that's not a LAZER site, it's a Red Dot set up. It simply reflects off of the glass. You still have to site the weapon in. I think Col. Eric is an idiot.

  And I have never any problems with the many MP-5's I have used. I have shot many hundred, even thousands of mags and never had the bolt crack. It is still one of the most popular guns out there for crisis response teams, both military and police. It is still one of the best SMG's ever built, and still widely used.

  best used for CQB. And MP5 is still the most popular gun amongst special forces and SWAT teams. who said that its a failed weapon ? which stats ?

  I have a AK47 and MP5 both. and they are used for different situations.
  anything inside 50 meters..... MP5 is what i will use anytime.
